3. Sarapiqui Rain Forest

We travelled next to a different rainforest inland, Sarapiqui. On the way we stopped at a fruit stall. You can play guess the fruit and veg with the photos. We stayed in a lodge hotel built in the traditional style. The chocolate tour was great, not only did we learn all about the traditional methods for producing chocolate, we got to eat some too - it was too dark and rich for the kids - all the more for us Mums. The walk through the rainforest included more wildlife, huge tree trunks and an 800m long hanging footbridge over the river (too scary to stop and take photos).
